I always spot fur on Amos's eye. Anyway to remove/clean the fur away from his eye? i worry he might get infection.

Re: Spot fur on my furkid's eye. How to remove?
I found some in Sushi's eyes also... I just close her eyes, and rub a bit like I did on my eyes, then the end of the hair comes out, then I can just take away. But I think that is not the best way, because if rub too much the hair still cant come out it may irritates the eye.

Re: Spot fur on my furkid's eye. How to remove?
there are many brands of eye cleaners de...
mikey de fur always oso enter the eys de..its normal for long fur dogs..even some short fur oso have this problem...
the eye cleaner is jus like our human's eye-mo..
when dust or anything else goes in, then u drip the solution into their eyes, then all the dirt and impurities including the hair will jus flow out of the corner of the eye.
another way is the solution may fill your dog's eyes, then the fur will float above the solution de...then u just use a tissue and gently wipe it up or push it to the corner of the eye and take it away...

Re: Spot fur on my furkid's eye. How to remove?
Other then removing fur in the eye, whats the usage of this eye lotion? Cause recently Sushi's fur poke into her eyes a lot. I am leaving the furs, growing them so no need to groom the nose part so often. Maybe because of this fur poking, she seems to have watery eyes very often, which lead to tearing, and tear stain. I notice that she actually got tearstain, but not visible due to her colour.
Re: Spot fur on my furkid's eye. How to remove?
i think got help to kill and wash out all the possible bacteria in the eyes..
sort of like disinfectant if not wrong...
mikey's eyes if too long don use that solution, it will look more reddish...

Re: Spot fur on my furkid's eye. How to remove?
will it caused of shih tzu's hair always being tied? boyboy's eyes not so big as most of the shih tzu...i guess coz of i only tie his hair for a very short period thn i cut it short liao....but i notice boyboy's eyes sometimes red also coz of the fur poked and might got fur in his eyes as well...he dont like me to put eye drop for him de...always wan to escape...
Re: Spot fur on my furkid's eye. How to remove?
When I tie Sushi's hair, I tie very loosely. Even she close the eyes, it is still very lose. Cannot tie too tight, it will make them feel uncomfortable and pain.. and hair lose.
Re: Spot fur on my furkid's eye. How to remove?
ya..agree with yenlu...
mikey's hair always finish tie dy i will push the rubber band upwards to let more hair loose....so thats y u see those shih tzus hair really long de...all their front is curved outwards...bcoz for their eyes to b more comfortable...
their eyes are genetically like this...
so memang cannot close very well since small...
mikey when he was a puppy oso like this till today oso cannot close completely...
