Actually, there is a reason why water bottle is encouraged for dogs, or actually for most animals. The position they are drinking from bowl (on the floor) is actually not good for them (their neck). I remember I read somewhere but I can't find it right now. The best position to feed them (both water and food) in bowl, is to increase the height of the bowl (place something under the bowl) so they do not have to bend their neck so much. Especially the bigger dogs. For Seven, she is not very tall, so the bowl on the floor is still acceptable. For dogs like my Miki, or Amos height, best is to place the bowl on something higher, like a small chair or something. Look at how they bend their neck.. bend more sure neck-ache someday
