Did you brush your puppy/dogs teeth?

This topic came across my mind when im thinking how often we should brush him/her.
Please state down what kind of toothbrush and toothpaste you are using.
So far i heard someone said we can use white cotton which use when infury,is kind of net,dont know what it should call. then wrap the cotton on our finger and use children toothpaste,coz is mild,correct me if im wrong. tongue

About brush dog teeth, only beginning might fun, later you will lazy to do it.
Try the chews stick it have added palatebility enhancer make these ver tasty. The specific form helps to clean the teeth.

i saw boyboy's teeth is yellowish...thk of wan to brush his teeth...but really lazy ler...currently juz bought the chew stick for him...

I just bought the toothpaste n brush for lucas, just now he only let me brush his front lips teeth, i prefer brush it that way, coz i think more cleaner...hehe....
the reason i bought is i cannot stand lucas bad breath...haha

this Miniature Schnauzers always have bad breath. My two dog also have. Look is natural. we cannot do any thing for it.

Please DO NOT use children/human toothpaste on your dog. Toothpastes designed for human can upset your dog's stomach. Human toothpastes contains fluoride that will not do good on your dog.

Use only DOG-toothpaste. Don't just because it is expensive then you take the cheaper human toothpaste alternatives. You just need to use once a week (usually) and a tube of it can last very long.

That is only suggestion from my pet shop friend,no worry,i wont take this risk.
By the way, the dog toothpaste i bought yesterday, it contain floride too confused

Consuming a lot of fluoride is poisonous to dogs. As in why the product you bought also got fluoride, I have no idea. I have read many information on the net and all stated that human fluoride will do harm to dogs. Human toothpaste also contain detergent.

Dogs can't spit like human do after brushing. That's why we need to get a dog-safe products, because they will just swallow. Getting a nice toothpaste that your dog like it will make your job much easier. There are toothpaste with beef flavor and such hehe =)

However, vet may recommend fluoride treatment for dogs with serious periodontal problem.

im using vanilla flavour toothpaste for amos, smells very nice and price is like RM29.90 like that. toothbrush i use kids toothbrush but not handy. will get a dog toothbrush next time when i got money.keke

The brand is Triple pet. got it from sunway pyramid's petshop. Pet safari did sell this product as well but sometimes out of stock. the smells of the toothpaste is similiar to the ice-cream soda soft drinks smell.keke

Lucas vet told me toothpaste contain fluoride are ok for dogs, coz they only contain mild fluoride,not like human toothpaste fluoride.
