Alvin and Seven reporting in ;)

discovered an infection wound as big as a coin a few days ago. and other minor spots all over her body.
she's under medication now, antibiotics, pills to stop itchiness, and some cream.

the other minor spots dun seem to be worsening and the wound is healing well... scared me ler.

but she really no energy.

i think the medicine really make her no energy...when boyboy on antibiotic, show the same symptom....

did vet say wat is the cause of this ?

hehehe... the vet says she probably got it from others, and it got worsen when she licked it a lot and the wound stays humid.

got it after the party??

did vet give u wound guard spray? to prevent her to lick the part...

yeah got it after the party, not sure if got it from the party or not.
i called back the vet yesterday and i investigated yenlu suggestion about the food.

seems that it's not about food.

If you did tell me about the "coin" wound then it will not be the food

Don't think it is the antibody that make seven slow down, it should be the pill to prevent itchiness. Maybe the medi not suits her, did you tell your vet about the symptom? My vet says there are a lot types of pill to prevent itch, and some will make your dog "stone".. if it makes them stone, need change pill... that is what my vet told me lah.. when sushi was taking medicine months back.

I would say best is to re-visit the same vet since the vet got the records and know what he had prescribed. But if after 2 or 3 times no improvement, then seek second opinion is a good choice.

Seven's wound is almost healed. it's looking pretty good.

good to hear that. but better make sure it wont spread to other area like Hugo.

i asked the Vet today, bringing seven for a revisit.
she said that seven's wound is not infectious coz it's mainly cause by humidity (what is it called an infection anyway?)... i'm pretty puzzled coz i actually thought ALL those alike are infectious... lol

there are lots of diagrams in the clinic, but when i asked she said it's not one of any of them, not so serious.

so at the end she didnt really tell me what exactly it is, all i got are just pills and cream then pay. kao tim.

but then since Seven is healing i'm not really asking for too much... lol
