Greetings from MILO

Hello everyone...

Elsie introduced me to this forum aka chatroom (as how i've seen it coz everyone is so close to one another).

Milo is the eldest son in the family. He will have a baby sister in Dec later. Bought him in January 2008 after my wedding as a gift for myself. Actually as my companion coz hubby is always busy playing comp games. Since the time i met him at the breeder's until today, he has always been a manja boy; grabbing all my attention away from hubby. At work, i think of him often. After work in the car, i will tell hubby i missed milo instead of him. It's amazing how hubby hasnt slaughtered milo coz of jealousy coz he himself oso pampered milo to the max.

Milo used to have a wife but due to unforeseen circumstances, i had to give his wife away to a better mummy. This is something that i've done wrong to milo forever coz when they met each other occasionally, they recognised each other's smell; would hug and engage in loving kisses. However, i'm at peace now coz my 1st daughter (the new mummy said she and i would be MUMMIES together) is being very well treated and pampered.

Milo and I would love to join some of the gatherings organised here some time.

ya..Ice is very active but after sometime will drop down to sleep. she's a piggy... Thanks for the welcome.

lol Ice very cute ler, she keeps coming to me when i try to feed Seven.
and after she depleted her energy she simply drops infront of the reception, so cute

Hehe...i bought the maid costume for Ice to seduce Milo de ...but no chance to wear when she was with me coz still too big; smallest size was no.3 from momoko

Hehe...since i was diagnosed with lactose intolerant, i cudnt drink iced milo anymore...so i named my furkids Milo Ice in remembrance of those university days punya mamak times - drinking big big glass of milo ais!!!

yes...shayne is very kind to let me continue being one of ice' mummies... it's just a title coz all responsibilities r shouldered on Shayne alone. I dont interfere with how shayne treats ice unless she is abusing her la...

Nvm la...i guess frens r curious as to why i gave up on ice. there r a few reasons. 1st i never dreamt that hubby's cyber cafe business will go down the drain. We r very tight on budget coz also preparing to move into our new subang house for baby's arrival in dec. 2nd doctor diagnosed me as having a low lying placenta (if serious, will result in placenta praevia - heavy bleeding that requires me to be in bed for the last 3 mths). 3rd hubby and i cannot afford a confinement lady who costs at least rm2800 - my mum is not healthy enuf to cook for me; MIL tak payah cakap.

Ice needs her regular full grooming - rm80. She n milo will cost rm160 liao. and if i were to be bed-ridden, i dont trust my hubby to meticulously take care of the kids. I asked him to wipe their cage CLEANLY oso very susah. With the baby coming later, hubby will be my confinement man & nanny- i need lotsa rest. Milo & Ice may be almost 1 yr then but to me, they r still kids. I wipe clean their eye discharge at least twice a day. Not forgetting their paws and private part each time they pee n poo if i saw la...and bathe them every week. All these need energy.

Why sacrifice Ice and not Milo, you might ask? Frankly, i never thot i cud conceive coz i was suffering from hormone imbalance and nearly was on hormone pills - will affect chances of pregnancy. I bought
milo in Jan, a mth after wedding. I had in mind that God wanted me to treat milo as my own son coz i will not have my own children. He is very attached to me. Ice was bought 2 mths later and has always been the more independent one. If shayne did not want to adopt Ice, i would have continue keeping ice coz i dont know any other person who can love ice like shayne.

And knowing that Ice follows shayne to work at FLuff is a very big relieve to me coz my parents' place is just opp NZX. I dont have to make appointments or phone calls to visit Ice.

I feel if i cant give 100% to Ice, i might as well dont give anything at all. It would not be fair to her. ELsie asked if i have money next time, will i take ice back? Honestly, i have thot abt this too. But it will be a very selfish act coz by that time shayne would have gotten very attached to Ice and vice versa. Shayne is not my nanny. So i can only wish them happiness and be happy for ice to have found a better mummy than me.

I hate it when people say that i'm not a genuine buyer. genuine means REAL. i have bought ICe for real. That is genuine. They can say i'm not a perfect mother - i can take that. But i'm not that evil coz i did not simply chuck ice to anyone. I'm sure my MIL would love to have Ice to add to her pet collection. As much as i love money esp at this moment, i did not ask shayne for an adoption fee coz i'm not selling my daughter.

chris....u really put effort to explain all this by typing so much...appreciate it...n i did read through every single word....sometimes life is just unpredictable....u woundn't know so many things will happen after u bought ICE...it's great u still can bcome ICE's mummy and she got a great owner...
