how's blackwood taste if compare wif orijen?

mikey now a lot better...
i think it was because i started on too many supplements at once...
so now all supplements oso stop dy...
later oni feed one supplement by one supplement...his stomach too sensitive...
he don wanna eat for a few meals dy...so i got worried and tried to tam him eat by eating a few pieces myself lo...then he started eating dy...so no choice lo...hv to la...if not later his stomach got lubang dy lagi cham..

im not sure is it jus me or what...
but i think blackwood taste jus a lil bit more saltier than orijen...
and orijen definately smells more meatier when u eat it...
somemore orijen takes longer for the taste to get lost from your mouth than blackwood...(or maybe its jus me again?)

and somehow i oso feel that orijen is easier to bite than blackwood..

I don't ever think I will taste kibbles, so I will just take your words

jerhigh de those carrots n milk de less taste...
honestly sometimes it feels like eating eraser de feeling bcoz very rubbery de...spinach is the worst taste ever...so i don buy spinach as treats anymore...lol...if not treats bcoz like medicine...

jerhigh meat got la...but also not really that much...surely more meatier than other product...

he only taste canidae and acana lah.. just that time at your place. Other then that, I don't remember he tasted any.

Eating rubber? LOL can imagine the taste... yuck!

i think thats the one la...acana la...the most salty kibble i've taste so far if not mistaken...

last nite i try a very small piece of Natural Balance lamb....it just taste like the healthy biscuit texture...juz a very little bit salty...i feel it taste quite nice...wonder why boyboy don like it also...

maybe i will think of buying orijen this time,they have just finished blackwood this morning...BW sien jo...any more recommends??

I feed orijen now. Faster go buy if you need to replenish now cos price increasing soon. I think ur dog n pup will love Orijen very much.

Even adult, only the normal one and the fish one. Fish one more expensive. Try the normal one first, they eat till sien jor only think upgrade to fish :p

Last time when I just bought my Miki, I got a pack of SPlan from the breeder too. The breeder feed that so I just bought and continue with this food. When I tells everybody in some other forum that I am feeding SPlan, then a few ppl come and ask me to change kibbles, anything, just anything in the market is better then this food.

It shows that SP has bad reputation similar like Pedigree. Why SP is so popular, because this is one of the brand that subsidy for breeder that registered with MKA. Many breeder using this food (and also Euka) because both of them give special offer for the breeder. And then the breeder promote the food as well, because they can earn by selling it at a lower price from petshop. I got "conned" to purchase a 7.5kg of SP when I purchase my Miki, and that is worth a 4 months of food for a 3 months old puppy. However, I throw away 4kg++ due to more research of this food.

To value a dog food, look at the ingredient. At the most possible get the one that start with meat, and if you read the SPlan, the first few are grain based. Dogs can't absorb the protein from grain as much as the protein from the meat. I notice when I was feeding SP, Miki poop as much as she eats, so I can say, its like eat nothing... cause all pooped out!

how's seven work on SP now? she can digest very well?

i don't like scienceplan as well because of an incident happened sometime ago where they have problem with their kibbles and causes health problem to the dog who consumes that. even the trial pack i dare not feed Amos.

my vet used to bug me to buy SP for cooper....i read up like yen lu also...so i tell her say "no need lar"

but i can see alot went to the vet and bought SP...tak tau why

i bought nutri edge for them this time..try the kibble first..

it sounds more reputable than other brands to some ppl...
and the price also make it seems like its gd dog food doesnt it??
and ya...i don like science plan oso...partly is also due to it's smell..
